Privacy Policy
Effective date: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what happens to personal information in connection with the website at inertproxy.online. The entity responsible for it is M - Style Europe s.r.o., Korunní 2569/108, Vinohrady, 101 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, company registration number 04287061, contactable at info@inertproxy.online.
Personal information in connection with this site is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, which are published by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles. Because the principles are the structure readers in Australia are most likely to recognise, this policy walks through all thirteen of them in order and says what each one means here.
This policy covers inertproxy.online and nothing else. Links in the course lead to other organisations' websites — government regulators, and a paid affiliate link to a game vendor — and each of those sites is governed by its own policy, not by this one. When you follow a link away from this site, you leave the scope of this document.
The thirteen principles, one at a time
APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information
This document is the whole of our privacy practice for this site, written to be read rather than filed. It is published at a fixed address, linked from the footer of every page, and kept current. Questions about it go to info@inertproxy.online, and the complaints route is set out further down.
APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity
You can read every page of this course without identifying yourself. There is no account, no sign-in and no form. If you write to us, a pseudonymous address is perfectly acceptable and we will answer it. The one exception is a request for access to or correction of personal information: there we need enough information to be satisfied that the request is yours, because releasing one person's information to another would be the greater harm.
APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information
Two categories exist, and there is no third.
- Server access logs, kept by our hosting provider as part of operating the web server. A log entry records the IP address your request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string your browser identifies itself with.
- The content of emails sent to info@inertproxy.online: your address, your name if you give it, whatever you write, and any attachment you choose to send.
Nothing else is collected. There are no forms, no newsletter, no accounts, no progress tracking, no quizzes, no cookies, no web fonts, no analytics, no advertising tags, no profiling and no cross-site tracking. The pages make no request to any other server: every file a page needs comes from this domain. The checklists do not record what you tick, because nothing is written to your browser's storage at all.
APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information
Sometimes an email contains more than is needed to answer it — documents, identifying details, information about a third party. Where we could not have collected that information under APP 3, and where it is lawful and reasonable to do so, it is destroyed or de-identified. In practice that means the surplus material is deleted rather than filed.
APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information
This section is that notification. Logs are collected automatically when your browser requests a page, which is how web servers work; email is collected because you chose to write. The purposes, the recipients, the retention periods and the complaint route are all set out in this document, and the contact details for the responsible entity are at the top of it.
APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information
Access logs are used for keeping the site available and secure, identifying and blocking abuse, and diagnosing faults. Email is used to answer the message and to keep a record of the exchange. Neither is used for anything else.
Personal information from this site is never sold, rented, traded or shared for marketing by anyone. It is disclosed only to the two providers named under APP 8, who process it on our behalf, and to an authority where the law requires it — a valid order, or a legal obligation we cannot lawfully refuse.
APP 7 — Direct marketing
None is carried out. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, no promotional email, no course reminder and no "we noticed you did not finish Step 3" message, because no record of what you read exists. An address you write to us from is used for the reply and nothing further.
APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information
Two service providers handle information on our behalf: our hosting provider, which operates the web server and keeps the access logs, and our email service provider, which carries and stores messages to and from info@inertproxy.online. Both may store or process data outside Australia, including in the European Union where this publisher is established; the specific location may be outside Australia and may change if a provider changes. There are no other recipients.
APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers
This principle has little application here. No government-related identifier — a tax file number, Medicare number, driver licence number or anything of that kind — is adopted as an identifier, used or disclosed by this site. We never ask for one, and you should not send one.
APP 10 — Quality of personal information
The only personal information held is what a server logged automatically and what a correspondent typed themselves, so there is little scope for inaccuracy. If something we hold about you is wrong, tell us and it will be corrected.
APP 11 — Security of personal information
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. There is no database behind this site, no form submissions are stored, and nothing is written to your browser. The hosting account and the mailbox are reachable only by people working for M - Style Europe s.r.o., and are protected by the access controls those services provide. No certification, audit or standard beyond that is claimed.
Information is kept no longer than it is needed:
- Server access logs: 30 days, after which they are deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of the hosting service.
- Email correspondence: 24 months after the last message in the conversation, then deleted — unless it is needed in connection with a legal claim, in which case it is kept until that matter is finished.
APP 12 — Access to personal information
You may ask what personal information we hold about you. Write to info@inertproxy.online with Privacy request in the subject line. There is no charge for making the request. We reply within 30 days. Be aware that an access request relating to server logs usually needs the approximate date and time of your visits, because logs are not indexed by person and are kept for only 30 days.
APP 13 — Correction of personal information
If information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, ask us to correct it using the same address and subject line. The same 30-day period applies. If we decline a correction, we will say why in writing and tell you how to take it further.
Affiliate links and what happens when you follow one
Some pages carry a paid affiliate link to the game vendor Enlisted. Following it takes you off inertproxy.online, and from that moment this policy no longer applies. The vendor and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own sites to record that the visit came from here. That is their processing under their own policies, and it is not within our control.
M - Style Europe s.r.o. receives commission reports from the affiliate network. Those reports are used to reconcile payments and for nothing else. We do not seek, request or try to derive information that would identify an individual reader from them, and we do not combine them with anything on this site, because there is nothing on this site to combine them with.
Complaints
If you believe personal information has been mishandled in connection with this site, write to info@inertproxy.online and describe what occurred. Complaints are answered within 30 days.
If our answer does not resolve it, a privacy complaint can be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which explains its process at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
Data breaches
If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or disclosure or loss of, personal information connected with this site, we assess it promptly. Where serious harm to an affected person is likely, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and we say what has happened and what to do about it.
Children
This course is written for adults and is not directed at people under 16. Nothing is collected from anyone for the purpose of identifying them, whatever their age, and there is no form a young reader could fill in. Parents and carers who want material written for Australian families will find it at the eSafety Commissioner.
If the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you
M - Style Europe s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the GDPR is relevant to its processing as well as the Australian framework described above.
The legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interests in operating a secure and available website and preventing abuse. The legal basis for handling an email is the steps taken to respond to your enquiry and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence. No processing on this site relies on consent, because there are no cookies, no tracking and no marketing to consent to.
Where the GDPR applies you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For this publisher that authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz/en. Readers in Australia may prefer the OAIC route described above; either is open to you.
Changes to this policy
When this policy is revised, the effective date at the top is updated. If a change is material — a new recipient, a new category of information, a different retention period — a note saying so is displayed at the top of this page for 30 days from the revision.
